President Donald Trump got so much attention over the past few years, but today First Lady Melania Trump marked her spot as a White House fashionista — especially that Michelle Obama set the bar so high over the past eight years.

Melania wore a light blue dress with a high collared jacket and matching gloves and heels, projecting a sweet yet powerful look.

The outfit was designed by all American fashion icon, Ralph Lauren. Lauren has dressed many first ladies before, in addition to dressing Hillary Clinton during the election season.

Many designers including Tom Ford revealed that they would not be dressing Melania during Trump’s presidency. Melania’s outfit was reminiscent of Jackie Kennedy’s style: elegant, classic yet fashion forward.
