Bobbi Kristina Brown’s granddmother Cissy Houston is having a tough time grasping her granddaughter’s current situation, says the singer’s good friend Smokey Robinson.
While attending Clive Davis’ pre-Grammys gala on Saturday, the music legend told Entertainment Tonight that Cissy is very upset about Brown's condition.
"She's out of it," Robinson said about Cissy. “She's really struggling with all of this."
Cissy has spent several days at the hospital since her granddaughter was admitted on Jan. 31 after being discovered by a friend and her husband, Nick Gordon, unresponsive in a bathtub. Brown was moved from one Atlanta, Georgia, hospital to Emory University Hospital, where she remains in a medically-induced coma.

Several question still remain about what led to Brown ending up unconscious in the tub. And due to alleged injuries on her body, authorities have reportedly launched an investigation to see if Gordon had any role in the incident.

Brown's family has rallied around the 21-year-old daughter of the late Whitney Houston as she continues to fight for her life. A prayer vigil was held for Brown on Monday with her cousin Jerod Brown encouraging friends, family and fans to attend the event.
Brown’s father, Bobby Brown, also released a statement about his daughter’s condition on Friday, saying she is “good.” However, reports surfaced on Tuesday that Brown's family would take her off of life support on Wednesday, the three year anniversary of her own mother’s tragic death.
