Bobbi Kristina Brown Wanted To Develop A Whitney Houston Movie, Was Reviewing Scripts Weeks Before Her Hospitalization

A source has revealed that Bobbi Kristina Brown was determined to bring her mother Whitney Houston’s life story to the big screen, with the late 22-year-old even reviewing scripts for the project just weeks before her tragic hospitalization in January.
Houston’s life has already received the television treatment with Lifetime’s controversial film Whitney. But seeing that Brown had sole control over her mother’s estate -- which included the rights to her image and music -- she had already informed several producers that she wanted to honor her mother with another film.
The insider said that Brown was still vetting numerous scripts and offers sent to her for films about Houston’s life in the weeks before her hospitalization. And Brown even told producers that the “story’s not over yet.”
With Brown’s death in July, though, even more projects are now being pitched about Whitney’s life, the source said. Brown’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, has even been sent scripts, a fact that the insider added has angered Bobbi Kris’ family.

“The family is sickened by this,” the insider said. “They just want to be left alone to deal with the loss of a very young and valuable member of the family, but at the same time they understand the demand from fans to have their story told from an accurate standpoint.”
But despite the tension between the Browns and Houstons as well the legal battle being waged against Gordon, the source said it is still possible that a film will eventually come to fruition.
“The problem is that the family can barely agree on funeral flowers, but there’s no doubt this will happen someday since everyone in the families agree the two should be honored and remembered in a special way,” the insider said.
