The actress and singer spoke with OK! Magazine last month about her role on the reality series, "I'm very melancholy about it. I grew so much personally being part of it, because it's the kind of show where you can't hide your feelings. I was forced to stop worrying about how I would be perceived...Being on American Idol has made me much more confident about myself.”
