Briana DeJesus is going through a parent’s worst nightmare! The Teen Mom 2 star recently revealed her oldest daughter Nova had to undergo surgery, and today, Briana gave fans a play-by-play of how her daughter was handling the scary endeavor.
On Wednesday, Briana revealed to RadarOnline.com exclusively that Nova, 6, had to go to the dentist to get a few teeth pulled. “But it’s still scary because Nova hates the dentist, as most kids do, and has to be put to sleep for this procedure,” Briana told the site.
It comes at a difficult time for Briana, whose youngest Stella has several health issues of her own. “It’s been a really rough few weeks with Stella having had her medical issues and been hospitalized,” she admitted.
Despite the scare of yet another surgery, Briana’s daughter Nova was handling everything like a pro! Briana shared a few pics of Nova on Instagram and Snapchat, and she seemed to be in good spirits. The two of them played around with Snapchat filters before heading into the operating room.
Luckily, once the laughing gas kicked in, little Nova was definitely in a good mood! Briana shared this pic of the six-year-old giggling after getting some “happy juice.”

She even played around with the medical equipment! No surgery scares here.
“My queen,” Briana captioned this pic of Nova smiling big.
Briana made sure her daughter felt fine after the procedure and had a “Get Well Soon” balloon waiting for her.
Plus, even Nova’s dad Devoin was present for the surgery. He also rode home with her and Briana, and kept his daughter entertained in the back seat. Briana joked, “She ain’t too tired or sick for toys lmao.”
