Bristol Palin Confirms She's Joining 'Teen Mom' As Source Claims 'OG' Cast Is 'Pissed Off'

Bristol Palin confirmed reports she’s the newest member of Teen Mom OG! The new MTV star shared a photo of herself already filming with a crew. The pic comes as insiders tell RadarOnline.com the cast isn’t happy with the casting decision. In fact, the OGs are seriously “pissed off” about MTV’s shakeup!
“I am excited to join MTV's 'Teen Mom OG.' I look forward to sharing my experiences and hope that I can help others on their journey,” Bristol captioned a photo of herself kneeling beside her three children, with two cameramen and a sound person standing beside her.
Bristol was all smiles in the photo despite the controversy surrounding her casting. “What the hell? That’s random. Who is that?” Teen Mom 2 dad Javi Marroquin replied when asked how he felt about Bristol joining the show.
A source close to Amber Portwood told Radar, “Amber is pissed off about the new cast member. They’ve been doing Teen Mom for ten years and don’t think they like the idea of someone who is a total newbie and has never even been on the show before coming on permanently.”
In addition to Bristol, The Ashley’s Reality Roundup reported that The Challenge star Cory Wharton and Are You the One? star Cheyenne Floyd are joining the show.

When the news regarding Bristol broke, Cory tweeted, “OUT WITH THE OLD IN WITH THE NEW, you guys are boring they want ratings.” Teen Mom OG dad Tyler Baltierra replied, “Dude it’s so true though,” along with a laughing crying emoji and an applauding hands emoji.
However, the source said Tyler and his wife Catelynn Lowell aren’t happy about the shakeup either. “They all just think it’s stupid that they’re bringing people from outside the franchise instead of bringing the OG’s and the TM2 cast together,” the insider explained.
Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry also weighed in on the casting of the show. “Bristol palin & Cheyenne & Cory for teen mom og? Our producers show know what to do,” she tweeted. She later clarified, “I also am not hating whatsoever. I’m just surprised.”
