Britney Spears is breaking her silence after her sister Jamie Lynn Spears’ daughter, Maddie, was airlifted to the hospital due to a serious accident.
The pop singer took to Twitter on Monday to plead with her followers to send prayers and well wishes Maddie's way.

"Need all the wishes and prayers for my niece," Brit-Brit wrote as a caption alongside an image of the sweet 8-year-old.
Maddie was airlifted to a New Orleans hospital Sunday after her ATV flipped, leaving the child’s head submerged in water for several minutes.
Jamie Spears, Maddie’s grandfather, told Entertainment Tonight, “All I can say is pray for our baby.”
Maddie is said to currently be in critical but stable condition.
