Britney Spears’ 8-year-old niece, Maddie, is in critical condition after an ATV accident on Sunday, according to reports.
Maddie is the daughter of Britney’s sister, Jamie Lynn, who had her daughter when she was just 16-years-old with her boyfriend at the time, Casey Aldridge.

According to reports, the ATV Maddie was riding flipped, leaving the child underwater for several minutes.
Jamie Lynn was not with Maddie at the type of the accident, sources claim, and the little girl was soon airlifted to a nearby hospital.
“All I can say is pray for our baby Maddie,” the child’s grandfather, Jamie Spears, told E! News on Sunday.
Jamie Lynn is now married to Jamie Watson, and has often taken to Instagram to share her proudest moments with her family of three.
