Britney Spears revealed to her dad, Jamie, that she is desperate for her messy custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline to finally be done, and so now he's stepping in. Kevin is currently asking for a significant increase in child support, and he and his lawyer met with the pop star's dad recently to talk it out. Click through for more details.
Ever since Britney made bank off her Las Vegas residency, Kevin has been asking for an increase in child support of $20,000, for their sons, Sean, 12, and Jayden, 11.
Britney, 36, is now at her breaking point and is tired of fighting with her ex, an insider revealed to Us Weekly, so she's enlisting the help of her dad.
“Britney has emphasized to her father she wants this settled,” the source said. “She doesn’t want it lingering because it only creates stress.”

Kevin, 40, currently has full custody of the couple's children. He and his lawyer met with Jamie earlier this month to try to “mutually” arrive at an increase in support payments, since, Kevin says, Britney is worth more now. The "Toxic" singer made $137 million off her Las Vegas residency.
“All Kevin wants to be able to do is provide the same standard of living the boys have when they are with Britney,” the insider continued. “Sean and Jayden’s needs are of course changing since they are getting older, which is a major factor in the decision to seek the increase."
