Brody Jenner dropped a major bombshell on the latest episode of The Hills: New Beginnings on Monday, July 15. He spoke about how his father Caitlyn bailed on his nuptials to wife Kaitlynn Carter one week before it happened and the emotional impact its had on him since.
Brody, 35, and Kaitlynn, 30, sat down to dinner with his mother Linda Thompson and brother Brandon on Monday’s new episode.
The conversation eventually turned to Brody’s parents past relationship and Caitlyn being absent from his life.
“My dad and I have never really had a great relationship," Brody said before speaking highly of Linda, 69. "Through all the ups and downs that my family has had, my mom has always been the rock."
Brody and Kaitlynn then spoke about Caitlyn, 69, bailing on their wedding. Linda and several of their loved ones flew to Indonesia to watch them get married on June 2, 2018.

"Right before our wedding, Brody's dad cancelled on coming to the wedding, like a week before,” Kaitlynn said in a solo confessional during the episode. "Brody kind of brushed it off, but he has to have felt something. But he doesn't express it."
"Not having my dad at the wedding, it was a bummer,” Brody admitted. “Honestly, it really did hurt and I would have loved to have her there but she had better things to do. Apparently."
Brody previously said that his relationship with Caitlyn was “very surface” and that she would only come around to see him “every couple of years” when he was growing up.
