The weekend started out great for Brooke and Chris as they decided to attend a swanky Bastille Day dinner in the Hamptons that boasted a bevy of A-listers.
The couple got all dolled up and hopped in their boat to arrive there in some serious style—only to wind up stranded at sea for five hours!
According to Page Six, their boat got stuck on a sandbar and they had to wait out the tide.

It wasn’t until 11pm when they were finally got safely to shore. But by then the event was likely long over.
And it sounded like a good one, because it included a Dom Pérignon dinner and fireworks. The high-profile guest list also boasted celebs such as Darren Star, Jennifer Esposito, and Cynthia Rowley.
