Cardi B has a lot to celebrate! Hours after taking home the award for best rap album at the 2019 Grammys, she shared another more personal milestone. On Instagram, she posted a video of her daughter Kulture saying “Mama” for the very first time.
In the short clip, the baby is in her walker as off-camera adults try to coax her into saying the two-syllable word. Their gentle prodding pays off and she repeats the word perfectly.
When the 26-year-old first-time mom turns the camera on herself, she covers her face and is visibly emotional.
“After a week of only saying papa!” she wrote in the caption. “She is saying mama! Happy 7 months Kulture!

“We love you,” she added before tagging Kulture’s dad Offset, her younger sister Hennessy and Hennessy’s girlfriend Michelle.
The Bronx native proved she’s mastered being a working mom. During the Grammys, after a sultry performance of her song “Money,” Cardi became the first female solo act to take home the award for best rap album.
