Cardi B took to her Instagram Live on Thursday to discuss what it's like being a first-time mommy to her newborn daughter Kulture, saying in part, "I met my match."
Cardi and her fiancé Offset welcomed Kulture back on July 10th of this month. The "I Like It" rapper first revealed that she was expecting back in April.
She took to her Instagram Live on Thursday to discuss being a new mommy, primarily due to the controversy surrounding her backing out of the upcoming tour with Bruno Mars this fall.
On the video she said that there were a ton of reasons why she couldn't go on the tour, but that Kulture was the biggest one. "I can't leave my baby, like not for one second," she revealed.

"It's so hard, because I want to be with my baby every second. Like even when I be doing my hair in the other room I just gotta be around her," she continued.
Cardi went on to talk about how she thought six weeks would be enough time for her to heal, but that wasn't the case as her baby girl's weight "took all the strength from my body." She continued, "Going on tour with Bruno Mars, you know, in like the biggest arenas… and I don't want to go on tour and I won't be able to dance or perform properly."
Outside of the touring drama, Cardi did admit that motherhood was more difficult than she expected as she "met her match" in her daughter. On the flip side, she told fans how there's new music from her in the works, including an upcoming album. "I'm going to work. Like, my life is not over, you know, I just have to take my time to do some things," she said.
