She wasn't initially covered up when arriving, as Cardi was spotted wearing an all-grey ensemble and sneakers.
Things all of a sudden shifted when Cardi threw an oversized blanket over her head and shielded her face from fans and photographers.

She had a friend help guide her through the airport while she kept the blanket over her head.
No word yet on why the Grammy nominee chose to exhibit this behavior.
