Don’t count on Cardi B to cook the turkey this year. The “I Like It” singer recently opened up about Thanksgiving, and how far her culinary skills extend. Cardi, 27, also claimed that her husband Offset’s family won’t trust her to make macaroni and cheese as a side dish for the big feast.
Cardi spoke to People about her Thanksgiving plans. “I’m really excited,” she gushed. “I’m going to Atlanta. I spend it with my husband Offset‘s family.”
When she was asked if she would be helping out with any of the cooking, she responded, “No. I could help mash up the potatoes, know what I’m sayin’? Y’all want me to peel some vegetables, I’ll help you with that!”
Even though the Hustlers star didn’t appear too confident when it came to her cooking skills, she is willing to help out, but cannot promise it will be good. “I mean if y’all want me to cook a dish, I’ll do it. But I don’t guarantee it,” she joked.
Cardi did have one dish in mind to serve. “I think I could do a really good mac and cheese,” she said. "I don’t play with my mac and cheese either, so I feel like if I’m gonna go in and do it, I’m gonna do it good. But I don’t think they’re gonna trust me enough.”

One thing the “Bodak Yellow” rapper is looking forward to this year is her daughter Kulture spending time with the family. “Now that my daughter’s a little bit older she likes to interact with kids,” the proud mom gushed.
She added, “I’m excited to see her with her siblings. It’s gonna be fun. A lot of open space down there in Atlanta so I can’t wait.” The Migos rapper is father to three other children from previous relationships.
In July, Cardi admitted that the milestones her 16-month-old daughter reach make her emotional. “I'm madly, overly in love with my child,” she wrote on social media.
