According to the newest edition of OK! Magazine, Brittany Kerr, Jason Aldean's wife, has been trying to be besties with Carrie Underwood for years — but the country star is not having it. Scroll through to find out why!

While we can't be certain exactly why Carrie and Brittany have never hit it off, it may have to do with the fact that Jason cheated on his now ex-wife, Jessica Ussery, with Brittany back in 2012.
The pair was caught kissing in a Hollywood bar while the country star was still very much married to his high school sweetheart. Jason and Jessica share two daughters together, Keeley, 15, and Kendyl, 11.

Despite the backlash that the 41-year-old father received, he went on to marry his mistress in 2015.
While Carrie and Jason are known for being good friends, she "still tries to avoid her Brittany whenever she can, even if it means distancing herself from Jason," a source told OK!
As fans remember, Carrie rose to fame when she won the fourth season of American Idol in 2005. Jessica also appeared on the talent TV show years later. "Brittany feels like they have so much in common," said a source.
