Mike announced the exciting news via Instagram this past weekend. Under a picture of the German Shepard puppy he wrote, “Meet the newest member of our family!”
The hockey player then revealed that his 3-year-old son did the honors of naming their new pet. “Isaiah affectionately named him Zero. I guess it fits because it’s the chance of surviving if you try to break into our home,” the caption concluded.

The family already have two other dogs Ace and Penny, and with the birth of their new baby, they will have their hands completely full.
Back in August, Mike and Carrie used to Instagram once again to announce the pregnancy. The “Love Wins” singer did an on-camera reveal before saying, “Mike and Isaiah and I are absolutely over the moon and excited to be adding another little fish to our pond.”
“We’re just so excited and just so glad you guys can share in this with us and be a part of this with us. Love you guys! We will see you on the road in 2019,” she added. Carrie is currently on maternity leave but she slated to hit the road in May with fellow country acts Maddie & Tae and Runaway June.
