"They do want to be parents again," Tyler and Cate's good friend, River Ceballos, said on RadarOnline.com and OKMagazine.com's podcast, Teen Mom Time.
"Of course the miscarriage was very unfortunate and it took a huge toll on both of them. But having another kid was always in the card for them," he continued.
As seen on the current season of Teen Mom OG, Cate and Tyler learned they were expecting again and announced to the friends, family, and the MTV cameras.

However, shortly after, Cate suffered a tragic miscarriage. Following the incident, Cate checked herself into treatment after having suicidal thoughts. She checked out before New Years, but checked back in mid-January for a six week program.
River said that having another baby "was always the plan." He added, "There is no rush because everything is fresh and new but they definitely want baby number three."
Cate and Tyler have one daughter together, 3-year-old Novalee.
As seen on 16 & Pregnant, the original show that introduced Cate and Tyler to MTV audiences, they welcomed a daughter, Carly, who placed for adoption after her birth.
