Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra’s wish is finally coming true! After going two years without being allowed to see their daughter Carly, whom they gave up for adoption eight years ago, the Teen Mom OG stars are finally reuniting with their eldest child.
“4 days till we go see Carly I’m super excited,” Catelynn tweeted alongside multiple smiling face emojis.
Catelynn and Tyler agreed to an open adoption with Carly’s adoptive parents Brandon and Teresa Davis in 2009, but the relationship hasn’t been ideal.
Brandon and Teresa requested that Tyler refrain from posting photos of Carly on social media, and the couple also refused to let Tyler and Catelynn discuss Carly on the show.

In 2015, Brandon and Teresa did allow Carly to attend her biological parents’ wedding but denied visits after that.
“They will always be justified because they are her parents and we are not,” Tyler tweeted at the time. “We do have an open adoption. They are just making decisions that they think are the best for Carly. Which is exactly what they should do.”
