Celine Dion Breaks Down As She Receives Award From Son—Inside The Emotional Heartfelt Speech

Celine Dion was full of emotion at 2016 Billboard Music Awards on May 22.

The legendary singer was honored with the Icon Award, who she dedicated to her husband René Angelil who passed away in January.

"René, this one's for you," she said tearfully in her acceptance speech. "The show must go on."

Dion was shocked when her 15-year-old son Rene-Charles Angelil surprised her on stage and presented her with the award.

"I'm sorry for crying," she said as she held on to her son's hand. "I want to be so strong in front of my family and my kids."
