Chester Bennington’s Wife Targeted By Sick Hacker Hours After Singer's Tragic Death
July 21 2017, Updated 2:21 p.m. ET
Just hours after Chester Bennington’s apparent suicide, the late singer’s wife Talinda’s official Twitter account was hacked.
The disgraceful hacker sent out over half a dozen accusatory tweets that claimed Talinda only “married for the money” and was having an affair with Chester’s Linkin Park band member Mike Shinoda. The vile posts also alleged that Talinda “never really loved” her husband.
Soon after being posted, the tweets were removed.
Following the singer’s death, a Los Angeles County coroner confirmed they were investigating Chester’s passing as an apparent suicide as reports claimed he was found hanging in his home, on Thursday, July 20.

The Linkin Park frontman was close friends with late rocker Chris Cornell, who committed suicide by hanging in May. Chester’s body was found on what would have been Chris’ 53rd birthday.
Chester leaves behind 6 children.
Rest in peace.
