Almost one year after Chris Martin and his wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, “consciously uncoupled,” the Coldplay frontman is now ready to completely pull the plug on his relationship.

The parents of two announced their split last March after 10 years of marriage and remained cordial in the months after. But a source tells OK! that Martin is now tired of dealing with the grey areas of their new arrangement.

“He loves Gwyneth and his kids, but enough is enough,” the insider said. “He put his foot down and told her he’s ready to file.”

There was brief talk that the couple reconciled toward the end of last year. However, a source knocked those claims, telling OKMagazine.com the exes were both interested in moving on.  “There’s definitely some kind of ‘race’ on between Chris and Gwyneth to see who can settle down first with a new partner,” the source said.
