Whitney Bischoff found true love when she joined The Bachelor, but the same can’t be said for her ex-fiancé Chris Soules. The farmer reportedly remained engaged to the fertility nurse to extend his 15 minutes of fame.
Whitney reportedly ended their engagement over lunch in Chicago on May 25. “Whitney couldn’t take Chris' bulls—t anymore,” a source told Life & Style. “She thought maybe they could work it out after DWTS, but really that’s just when she started to see his true colors. She feels she was tricked, and she told friends she thinks he never really loved her at all.”
After quitting her job as a fertility nurse in Chicago to move to Arlington, Iowa to start a life with Chris, he moved to Los Angeles to join Dancing With the Stars. “Chris knew he was never going to marry Whitney,” the insider said.
And when he wasn’t gracing the dance floor, he was booking deals with his fiancée to make money. “Chris was already talking a couple months ago to friends about how there was no way in hell there was going to be a wedding. He didn’t love Whitney, he just wanted to ride it out as long as possible.”
Chris humiliated Whitney further by openly flirting with DWTS partner Witney Carson. “He spent more time with Witney than Whitney,” another source said. “It’s crazy.”
