PHOTOS‘Proud’ Chrissy Teigen Cheers On John Legend During His Second Swimming Lesson

John Legend got back in the pool for his second swimming lesson on Wednesday, January 30, and his wife Chrissy Teigen was there to cheer him on! The EGOT winner, who admitted on January 28 that he was taking his first swimming lesson since he was 5-years-old, swam in his backyard pool as his proud wife caught the moment on camera.
Chrissy, 33, posted a clip on Instagram of her husband in the pool. She captioned the video, “Adult swim with @kidswimla – so proud!!!”
John, 40, successfully showed off his new skills by swimming horizontally across their pool as a swim instructor directed him from the stairs. The “All of Me” previously told fans on Twitter, “I can’t really swim. Today I took my first swim lesson since I was like 5. My dad learned in his 60’s so I feel like I’m ahead of schedule.”
Chrissy’s followers asked why the video was muted and she explained, “Because I’m cheering too loudly.”

Many people commented their support for John. Olympic gold medalist swimmer Simone Manuel offered to help out the singer for his next lesson. She commented, “Please please please let me teach @johnlegend and you how to swim! I AM AVAILABLE!!!”
This isn’t the first time an Olympic medalist has offered to help The Voice judge. When he first revealed he was taking lessons, Kristy Kowal responded to his tweet, “Moving to California this week! Let me know if you want lessons for you and your kiddos!! #swimmingolympianforhire.”
