Summer Rain is ready for her close-up! Six months after giving birth to her second child, Christina Aguilera is opening up about motherhood and sharing aww-dorable photos of her little girl (and we’re not talking about diaper snaps!).
Baby blues? Check. Sweet smile? Check. Christina’s superstar looks? Check! The songstress gave her cute daughter a kiss on the cheek as the duo posed for People magazine.
The Voice coach told the magazine of giving birth to her daughter on Aug. 16, “I was speechless. She was literally like an angel… We had an immediate calm bond, and I felt unexplainably connected to her and her spirit.”

Summer is Christina’s first child with fiancé Matt Rutler. The six-month-old joins big brother Max, 7, from her previous marriage with ex-hubby Jordan Bratman. “Her smile lights up a room and I know it melts mama and daddy’s hearts,” she said of her daughter. “She laughs a ton and is easy to make smile. She just wants to be where the action is!”
In addition to being a mother of two, the songstress is keeping busy by returning to The Voice for season 8, working on new album and producing a TV series for ABC Family. “It’s definitely not easy juggling work and motherhood, as being a parent is a full-time job within itself,” she explained. “You just have to make it work for you. My life has so many different moving parts, but my kids are the center focal piece, and everything else shifts around them.”

Christina even admits to suffering from "mom guilt" because of her busy schedule. “But you have to surrender and let go, knowing you’re doing your very best and no one loves them, or wants what’s best for them more than you," she said.
