Ciara To Cohost ‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2020’
Ciara continues to secure the bag! After hosting the 2019 American Music Awards on Sunday, November 24, the mother of two, 34, landed another gig! She is set to cohost Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2020.
In addition to Ciara, the singer will be joined by Ryan Seacrest, Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale and Pose star Billy Porter. In a press release, Ryan, 44, shared his excitement regarding the upcoming event.
"As we ring in a new decade and my 15th year hosting the show, I’m so excited to welcome the talented Lucy Hale to the stage with me,” he said in a statement released on Tuesday, November 26. "It’s going to be a powerhouse year with Billy and Ciara and we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone!"
In honor of the 2019 AMAs, Ciara took things up a notch and performed her latest single “Melanin.” In addition, Ciara brought out Ester Dean and La La Anthony, who are also featured on her track. The singer’s hosting duties came one year after she had an epic performance at the AMAs for her song “Level Up.”

In the past, Ciara said that both Sienna and Future Zahir have to approve all of her music.
“They’re like my little A&Rs,” Ciara said of her children. “They let me know if something is right or if it’s not, and they are like 10 for 10 with their reaction. The way you kind of know, it’s like the songs have to have to ABC element. So when they hear songs, and then can sing it back, like within the next hours, or literally right after hearing it, you know you’re onto something right.”
