Challenge Accepted! Ciara And Megan Thee Stallion Compete In A Friendly Twerk Battle
It’s a showdown! Ciara and Megan Thee Stallion took a quick break to show off their twerking skills after the American Music Awards red-carpet roll out event.
On Thursday, November 21, Ciara—who is set to host the AMAs—took a moment to have an impromptu twerk battle with rapper Megan, 24, while Ciara’s, 34, new song, “Melanin”played in the background. The songs features the City Girls, Lupita Nyong’o, LaLa Anthony and Easter Dean.
Several of their famous friends commented, including Oscar-winner Lupita, who jokingly called the women “show-offs.” “I red heart emoji y’all,” actress Gabrielle Union wrote.
Ciara posted the clip of the epic session on Instagram. “Linked up with my Melanin Queen @TheeStallion #melanin Paahpin! #StrongKneeGame. P.S. @thegirljt and @yungmiami305 verse goes hard,” the singer captioned the clip.
Ciara rocked a beautiful silver gown with a high slit, as she proved that she could keep up with the “Hot Girl Summer” rapper who many have jokingly said has “knees of steel.”

Ciara and Megan took four steps towards the camera before turning around and dropping it low to twerk while onlookers stood in amazement. Just to show to prove how strong their thighs were, the ladies stayed low for what seemed like an eternity.
Megan, who was sporting an emerald green leotard with matching long sleeves dripped in diamonds, posted the same video on her social media.“Team long legs,” the rapper captioned the post.
Fans commented on the post saying, “First of all y’all can stop teasing us short legged folk,” joked a follower, referring to the captions. While another person wrote, “Never knew I needed this until now.” “Yeah Ciara bout the only person that can keep up with you and that’s facts,” declared one fan.
The Houston rapper recently shut down rumors that she was dating NBA player and Khloe Kardashian’s ex Tristan Thompson after reports surfaced online claiming that Triston, 28, invited the rapper to the Cleveland Cavalier’s recent game against the New York Knicks. “Lol they literally made up a whole LIE I was at Knicks game with my manager and my friends EJ,” the rapper wrote in a response to a fan tagging her in a tweet with the reports.
