Claire Foy is in the midst of a promo tour for the upcoming The Girl in the Spider's Web, and her trip to the BBC studios was the latest stop before the film's US premiere next week. Read on to check out snaps from the day and for all the details on her recent television appearance.
Ahead of her on-air obligation, Claire kept her look casual but sleek. She pulled a grey oversized coat over a knit sweater and cropped pants. She then added a bit of glam by accessorizing with a Gucci star-studded cross-body bag.
While chatting with host Graham Norton, the former Crown star had nothing but praise for Olivia Colman, who is set to play Queen Elizabeth II in the series’ upcoming 3rd and 4th seasons. She said, “I genuinely think that when it starts people will say, ‘Who was it that played it before?’”
During her tenure on the Netflix series, the 34-year-old won both an Emmy and a Golden Globe for her performance.

However, when asked if she missed her old gig she explained, “It's been a year and half ago since we finished. I do miss everybody but it goes on.”
Though the actress is gearing up for fans to finally make her debut as Lisbeth Sanders in the newest adaption of the Stieg Larsson book series, she admitted that she almost passed on the role completely.
“Not because of the contrast, which would have been extreme anyway, but it was more the fact that two other actresses have played the character to great acclaim and, because it is such a loved set of novels, you are going into it thinking you can only lose,” she explained.
