23 years after the finale aired, Clarissa Explains It All could be coming back!

A reboot for everyone's favorite American family television series may be in the works, according to the show creator himself.

Mitchell Kriegman revealed to Life & Style in a new interview that he's hopeful there will be a revival of the '90s cult hit.

“There is nothing that anybody is ready to announce yet, but I am hopeful,” Mitchell told the publication. “I think Clarissa should go on forever!”

Melissa Joan Hart's teenage character often delivered her own news reports, and the actress has agreed that the adult version of Clarissa should continue on in the entertainment world as a TV anchor covering current events. “I think she’d be good at that,” Melissa tells Life & Style. “She was smart and she was sassy."
