Country music’s biggest stars turned up for the CMT Awards in Nashville last night. Keith Urban had a huge evening, winning not one but four awards! By the time he got up to accept his last win, Keith had practically run out of things to say! But the singer made sure to thank his wife Nicole Kidman in an adorable speech that had everyone’s hearts melting. Keith wasn’t the only one who had a great night! Keith took home the awards for Video of the Year, Male Video, Collaborative Video, and Social Superstar (yes, that’s a thing). During one of his speeches, the “Blue Ain’t Your Color” singer made sure to give his wife Nicole a shoutout.

“You have no idea how much of what I do...she's involved in every little piece of it. She hates me saying this, but I want it to be said. She helps me so much making these videos what they are,” Keith gushed.

Carrie, meanwhile, took home two awards, one for Collaborative Video (which she shared with Keith for “The Fighter”) and another for Female Video. Carrie’s two awards bring her CMT awards total to 17, making her the most awarded act in the history of the show!

Jason Aldean, Darius Rucker, and Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelly all paid tribute to the late Gregg Allman by performing the Allman Brothers Band song “Midnight Rider.” The legendary musician died on May 27 from liver cancer.

Other collaborations included the unlikely duo Luke Bryan and Jason Derulo, who segued from Luke’s “Strip It Down” to Jason’s “Want to Want Me,” bringing down the house!

Newcomer Lauren Alaina broke down in tears when she won Breakthough Video of the Year for her hit, “Road Less Traveled.” “I’m not good at this, I don’t know what to do. Reba McEntire just gave me an award, so that’s pretty crazy,” the American Idol runner up said before thanking fans. “And Jesus! Sorry, God, that should’ve come first,” she added.

Country super fan Hoda Kotb joined her Today co-host Kathie Lee Gifford onstage to present the award for 2017 CMT Performance of the Year to Jason and Luke. Naturally, the morning duo brought wine onstage with them. When are they ever without it?

Another interesting presenting duo was Ashton Kutcher and Danny Masterson. In a bizarre move, Ashton brought a catfish onstage with him. But the fish was a nod to tradition held near and dear by Nashville’s hockey team, the Predators, who are currently in the Stanley Cup Finals. Naturally, the house went wild at the actor’s gesture.
