It looked to be an otherwise great day for Colin and his date, whose name remains unknown even though they have been dating for two years, as the two walked up to a delicious hotspot for lunch in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
But when the actor spotted a parking ticket on his car, all that joy went right out the window.
Though he was able to grab the attention of the citation officer to plead his case, it clearly didn’t work out as the 41-year-old looked really grumpy as the officer explained the reason for the ticket.

The True Detective actor tried to keep it together, though, as he resumed his date but he was clearly still upset about the situation.
The two did manage to enjoy their lunch as they were snapped smiling and in deep conversation.
