Colton Haynes Confirms He Is Gay Following Rehab Stint: 'I’m Happier Than I’ve Ever Been'
Colton Haynes can't hold his happiness in any longer! The actor recently confirmed that he is gay in an interview and revealed how his life has progressed following a rehab stint.

Colton's fame was quickly growing due to his roles on the two hit television series, MTV's Teen Wolf and The CW's Arrow. However, the actor revealed to Entertainment Weekly that he asked to "step away" because he "cared" more about his "mental and physical health" over his blossoming career as an actor.

"I’ve had terminal anxiety my entire life. Physically ill, fainting. I’m 27 years old, and I have an ulcer. I had to step back," he confessed.

In the interview, the actor explained that following a post on social media back in January about his "secret gay past," the comment "was a complete shock." He simply responded to the post saying, "Was it a secret? Let’s all just enjoy life & have no regrets.” However he explained his reasoning on why he didn't make a bigger statement saying, "I wasn’t ready to be back in the headlines.”

But these days, things have certainly changed for the actor. "It took me so long to get to this point, but I’m doing so good,” he said.

“I’m happier than I’ve ever been, and healthier than I’ve ever been, and that’s what I care about," he added.
