Corrine Olympios may not be beloved by her fellow female contestants on The Bachelor, but according to the show’s host, Chris Harrison, the 24-year-old shouldn’t be counted out just yet.
“I think people kind of laugh at Corinne, but she is pretty smart, and she’s been playing this very well, and she knows what she wants,” Chris told Us Weekly.
“And say what you will about her, that’s attractive to Bachelor Nick Viall,” added the host.
According to Chris, Corinne actually has more in common with the other contestants than they’d like to think. “They’re all very strong, independent, intelligent women who own who they are,” but then noted, “They may do that in different ways.”

Nick has gotten called out by some of the women for continuing to keep Corinne around, despite her somewhat inappropriate behavior—like taking off her bikini top during a group date, and straddling Nick in a bounce house during another.
“It may not be attractive to everybody, but he’s drawn to that,” Chris told the mag, also adding that Corinne is “open and honest.”
