Jessa Duggar is passing down several traditions from her childhood to her sons Spurgeon and Henry! The Counting On star shared a sweet video to Instagram on August 28 of her sons making pancakes from her mom Michelle’s recipe.

“Made our favorite pancakes for the second time this week,” Jessa, 26, wrote.

The mom-of-three continued, “My mom used to make this recipe for us growing up! I’ve always loved them so much that I would eat them by themselves— no maple syrup or anything— and Henry does the same.”

Spurgeon, 3, held the mixing bowl steady as his younger brother Henry, 2, enthusiastically stirred the recipe.

Jessa shared the ingredients with fans on her Instagram and admitted it’s easier with a high-powered blender. She told fans, “We end up mixing everything by hand because the boys love being involved in this way, and it only takes a min either way.”

The Counting On star’s latest video comes only a day after she shared a clip of her son’s singing Christian hymns for children. “It’s been so sweet to hear their little voices singing these songs around the house during the day,” she gushed.

Joy-Anna commended her sister’s parenting and wrote, “Mom and Pops have home videos of you singing those exact songs when you were their age!! This is so sweet! You’re doing so good with them!”
