Jan. 28 2015, Updated 2:02 p.m. ET

Wedding? What wedding? Courteney Cox, 50, and Snow Patrol frontman Johnny McDaid, 38, may have bigger news in the works: The actress’ rep denies it, but insiders are buzzing that thanks to IVF, she may be expecting!

“Everyone is ecstatic at the thought, especially her 10-year-old daughter Coco, who’s been begging for a sibling,” says a source.

The source adds that although Courteney is fiercely private and will try to keep the official news under wraps, “it’ll be hard—this is the kind of news you want to share!”

Courteney, who's been a vocal advocate of in vitro fertilization, has been engaged to Johnny since June of this year.

If this news is indeed true, Courteney and Johnny’s new baby will be another half sibling for Coco, who has a half-brother on her dad’s side. Courteney’s ex David Arquette welcomed a son, Charlie West, with his girlfriend, Christina McLarty, in April.
