Kylie Jenner: The youngest child in the Kardashian/Jenner clan is known for dying her hair odd colors. She wore pink tips while walking in Avril Lavigne’s 2011 fashion show and on a 2014 Keeping Up with the Kardashians episode, sister Kim Kardashian was disgusted by the blue hairdo Kylie insisted on wearing to Kim’s wedding to Kanye West.

Katy Perry: Fans were delighted when the “I Kissed A Girl” singer showed up at the 2015 Grammys red carpet with lavender hair. But later, the truth came out that Perry’s colorful look wasn’t permanent; she was wearing a purple wig. However, in the past Perry has dyed her hair bubblegum pink, red, and deep blue (for The Smurfs’ premiere). The star loves to be “unpredictable with her look,” her hairstylist Rita Hazan confirms.

Snooki: In 2011, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi washed up on the Jersey Shore with red-tipped hair. “I went mega red,” Snooki told her fans at the time on Twitter, adding that her hairdresser was a “genius.”

Ke$ha: Blue and green and purple, oh, my! In 2014, after her stint in rehab for an eating disorder, the pop star modeled a total of five different hair colors to fans on Instagram. But many believed they were wigs. In any case, Ke$ha commented, “I’m a rainbow.”

Dakota Fanning: The Twilight star was spotted carrying a cup of coffee in New York with dyed pink hair tips.

Willow Smith: Will and Jada Pinkett Smith’s daughter isn’t afraid to take chances with her crown of glory. Among other things, the “Whip That Hair” singer made fashion waves in 2012 by rocking a shaved green hairdo in New York -- and she sported rainbow-colored locks on a Subway sandwich outing in 2013.   

Nicki Minaj: The Bang Bang singer has worn a bunch of different candy-colored wigs, including a rainbow-tipped one at an album signing and orange model to perform at the 2010 BET Awards. But in 2014, Minaj started stepping out with her natural hair. “She wants to do less. Just less, less, less,” her hairstylist explained to Cosmo.

Jessie J: The British singer dyed the bottom of her hair purple for the 2011 Jingle Bell Ball.

Lady Gaga: The chameleon-like singer is usually blonde, but Gaga’s hair has also been neon yellow, aqua, and grey. The chorus of her song “Hair” talks about how changing one’s hairstyle is the ultimate in freedom: “This is my prayer. That I'll die living just as free as my hair.”

Avril Lavigne: At New York’s Fashion Week, the singer rocked a pink and green hairstyle. And she’s done pink before!

Kelly Osbourne: Fashion Police co-host Osbourne has been a famous lavender lady for a long time. She gushed to People magazine about her purple haze hairdo, “my color has become me. The first time I dyed it and looked in the mirror, I saw myself and I felt like me. I’ll never be a natural girl.”
