Crazy Town Band Members Left With ‘Cuts & Bruises’ After Scary Moose Collision Totals Their Van

Musical group Crazy Town became involved in a car wreck when their van collided with a moose while on tour in Canada. On October 31, the rap rock band shared that they were “ok,” and fortunately none of the band members sustained serious injuries after their tour van crashed into a moose. Crazy Town is best known for their 2000 hit “Butterfly.”

According to reports, the crash happened just after midnight on October 31. Band members frontman Seth Binzer, guitarist Elias Tannous and drummer Roland Banks were among the passengers in the van as it drove down Route 17 in Ontario, Canada when it collided with a female moose.

“Just got out of the emergency room, by the grace of god we are all ok just cuts and bruises,” an Instagram update from the band read. “We hit a moose on route 17 in Ontario Canada last night. Still planning to finish the tour #Sudbury tonight #CrazyTownXFamily.”

Pictures in the gallery showed the front of the van, which was demolished. The moose left a massive dent in the vehicle’s hood. The grill and windshield also were smashed after the animal made an impact. The moose was unfortunately killed instantly, and the band feels horrible about it.

Other images showed the band members bloodied and dazed, and receiving treatment from paramedics.

Seth, 45, gave an update in an Instagram video recorded after the crash. “We’ll see how swollen and injured we are in the morning to see if we can finish this thing,” he said, and added that he felt “so grateful to be alive.”

Crazy Town is expected to go to Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec, in Canada, along with New Bedford in Massachusetts, Brooklyn, Scranton, and then Australia for the remainder of their tour. The show must go on.
