After putting her Real Housewives of Dallas co-stars on blast last year, D’Andra Simmons has finally come clean about the alleged drug abuse she accused them of in a revealing new interview with People. Read on for the latest.
As RHOD fans know, D’Andra did not mince her words last year when she called out her cast mates — in particular Brandi Redmond — for allegedly using Adderall.
But in a new interview with People, the 49-year-old is wiping up some of the tea she spilled in regards to the allegation. In fact, she’s apologized for saying anything about it at all.
She explained how it all went down: “It was an interview about me and somebody asked me what my biggest fear was. I said my biggest fear was that I was worried about my weight. I’ve always worried about my weight, I’ve always had a weight problem and all these girls are so thin.”

Then she recalled the moment she blurted out the allegation, “I said, ‘Oh, but you know, they all take Adderall.’ It was a generalization, because it’s a Dallas thing, that women, you know — ‘Would you like a Tic-Tac? Would you like an Adderall? Would you like a drink?’”
She owned up to what she said, though, and said she was sorry. “I did the wrong thing and I own up to it, so I apologized to Brandi.” She also revealed that the two “quickly got past it.”
