Soccer Star David Beckham Helps Launch New Vietnamese Luxury Car
Oct. 2 2018, Updated 4:47 p.m. ET
Forget bending it like Beckham, it’s time to drive like him. David Beckham just endorsed the first-ever Vietnamese car manufacturer, VinFast Luxury Cars.
The former Manchester United star was in France to help introduce the company.
He was joined by the Vice-President of VinFast, the C.E.O, Director of Design and Miss Vietnam 2018 at the event.
It's no secret David loves cars and has a need for speed. This event came just two days after it was announced he'd be let off the hook for a speeding in January. He was going 59 mph in a 40mph zone. The news caused some backlash; people weren’t happy, claiming he was being irresponsible.
