David Foster Speaks Out For The First Time Since Proposing To Katharine McPhee

David Foster is breaking his silence after proposing to girlfriend Katharine McPhee. The acclaimed musician sat down with Access Live for an interview on July 12. Read on to see what he had to say.
On Thursday David appeared on Access Live, telling hosts of his recent engagement to Katharine, "We’re all great, we’re all happy."
"And you know, for some reason, the two of us, one plus one makes four instead of two. So it seems like it’s interesting news to people, so we’re just gonna roll with it," he continued.
David also recalled meeting his fiancé for the first time back in 2006 on American Idol. He claimed that there "sure" was a spark, even back then.

Earlier this month, David proposed to Katharine while they were on vacation in Capri, Italy.
David was previously married to Yolanda Hadid, who is reportedly not too happy about his engagement to Katharine.
