Dean Unglert’s Playing Games With Girls’ Hearts On ‘BIP’ & It’s SERIOUSLY Messed Up
Quit playing games with girls’ hearts, Dean Unglert! There’s already a love triangle on this season of Bachelor in Paradise and it’s seriously INTENSE! Monday night’s episode gifted fans with major drama as BIP's resident hottie, Dean, created quite the awkward (and sad) situation for himself and two other women.
As BIP fans know, Dean and Kristina Schulman were Paradise’s golden couple, and really looked like they could have a future together (Dean even visited Kristina’s hometown during the show’s production break), until Dean dropped a major bomb on the Russian beauty, telling her he wasn’t as invested in their relationship as she was.
“I think it would be good for both of us to slow down a little bit,” Dean told Kristina before the rose ceremony. “And I give zero f**s about the rose ceremony. Like, obviously I want to stay and I want to spend time with you, but like, I would rather tell you this now so you can make the decision that’s best for yourself.”
However, it seemed like Kristina wasn’t ready to let Dean go quite yet as she still ended up presenting him with a rose during the season’s first rose ceremony. (The heart wants what the heart wants.) But before Kristina even had the chance to mend her relationship with Dean, in swooped Danielle Lombard (she literally came in like a wrecking ball) with a date card and a crush on Mr. Unglert.
Danielle’s arrival to Puerto Vallarta seemed to shift the entire dynamic of Paradise as all the guys fawned over the nail salon owner, including Dean, which unsurprisingly crushed Kristina. "If Dean goes, I'll be pretty pissed off about it. Because that's not right," Kristina said when Danielle asked Dean on a date. However, her feelings didn’t seem to even cross Dean’s mind as he accepted Danielle’s offer right in front of Kristina.

It then became pretty clear that Dean was trying to have his cake and eat it too as he continued to flirt with Kristina even after his date with Danielle.
"I don't know who Dean thinks he is at this point," fellow BIP contestant Alexis Waters said, as she thought he was just stringing Kristina along. "He's going to Danielle, he's going to Kristina ... I'm like, 'You're a d**k.'"
Dean’s little game of “back and forth” ultimately led Kristina to tears. However, the Bachelorette star seemed unable (more like unwilling) to even acknowledge the part he played in Kristina’s heartbreak as he simply said, "Kristina lets her emotions get the best of her sometimes.”
Bachelor in Paradise continues Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
