DeMario Jackson Breaks Down In First Interview Since ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Controversy
DeMario Jackson is finally speaking out about what really went down during the filming of Bachelor In Paradise, earlier this month.
It’s been nearly a week since The Bachelorette star was cleared of any wrongdoing after Warner Bros. launched an internal investigation, following allegations of sexual misconduct during the filming of BIP. In his first sit-down interview, DeMario opened up to E! News about how the accusations affected him and his family.
“It was stressful. For me, mostly for my mother,” DeMario admitted. “It's hard to see your mom cry every single day – and my grandmothers and my aunts. It was very difficult,” he said, as he fought through his own tears.
Demario added: “My dad, he kept me extremely strong and kept me grounded and humble, but having your mom cry every day for something that you know you didn't do."

As OK! readers know, ABC suspended production on BIP season 4, after a show producer claimed DeMario and his BIP co-star, Corinne Olympios, had a sexual encounter–while filming–that Corinne was unable to consent to due to her level of intoxication.
While Warner Bros. recently concluded that no sexual assault took place during the filming, Corinne’s legal team's investigation is still underway. Meanwhile, filming for the new season of BIP has resumed in Mexico.
DeMario’s three-part interview airs Monday and Tuesday night at 7 p.m. ET on E!.
