Though her screen time was cut down considerably toward the end of her debut season on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Demetria McKinney just may be making a comeback this fall on the hit Bravo reality TV show!
A source speaking to OKMagazine.com revealed that McKinney is set to film a few scenes for RHOA’s Season 8 as part of Kandi Burruss’ storyline for the new season.
The insider added that Burruss will be executive producing McKinney’s upcoming debut studio album, Officially Yours, and that process will likely be a major part of any appearances she has on RHOA’s eighth season.
Heading into Season 8, the RHOA cast has seen some pretty drastic changes!

Sources told RadarOnline.com that actress Kim Fields and RHOA vet Shereé Whitfield have both been added to the show’s cast. Season 7 cast members Kenya Moore, Kandi Burruss, Cynthia Bailey, Phaedra Parks and Porsha Williams are also confirmed to be coming back. The bulk of the new reported cast was seen at Moore’s haircare line launch event on Aug. 17, and several of them also showed up for Bailey’s eyewear launch in early August.
McKinney and Jordan denied reports this summer that they had been fired from RHOA, saying that their contracts had not been terminated. But a source later told OKMagazine.com that the duo was in talks for their own reality TV series, with the beauties being spotted leaving the Viacom offices in New York City back in July.
However, it looks like the pair haven’t completely ditched their fellow Georgia peaches as we continue to countdown to RHOA’s highly-anticipated return this fall!
