Demi Lovato's Mother Reveals The Singer Has Been Sober For 90 Days

It’s been about 3 months since Demi Lovato overdosed, and her mother, Dianna De La Garza, has revealed the 26-year-old is on the up and up. Read on for all the latest details on the singer’s condition.
During a recent interview on Maria Menounos' Sirius XM radio show, Dianna admitted she “couldn't be more thankful or more proud of her daughter.”
"Addiction being a disease, it's work. It's very hard. It's not easy, and there are no shortcuts,” she added.
The 56-year-old also admitted she’ll never truly know what led to Demi’s relapse. She said she “can't really say for sure.”

However, Dianna did confess that though she knew the “Sober” singer had fallen off the wagon, there wasn’t much she could do about it. "I didn't know what she was doing because she doesn't live with me and she's 26,” she explained.
The mom of two also recalled the harrowing day she found out about Demi’s condition. She explained she found out via text message. "The one text message that clued me in on what was going on said, 'I just saw on TMZ and I'm so sorry,'” Dianna said.
Demi has laid low and stayed off social media since her overdose and subsequent rehab stint.
