'New Chapter': Demi Lovato Teams Up With Justin Bieber's Manager Scooter Braun Following Heroin Overdose

After a tough year, Demi Lovato is trying to surround herself with better people. On Saturday, May 11, the star took to social media to share that she has a new manager Scooter Braun — who brought Justin Bieber to fame at the beginning of his career.

As OK! readers know, Demi was hospitalized in July 2018 after she overdosed on heroin and then spent 90 days in rehab. Since then the Disney Channel alum has reportedly been sober and working on her road to recovery.

Most recently, Demi took to Instagram to tell her fans about the new addition to her team!

"Guys!!!!!!! Dreams came true today for me," she wrote on May 11. "I officially have a new manager!!! And not just any new manager, but the one and only @scooterbraun!!!!"

Scooter, 37, also took Instagram to share the exciting news. "She is a special person and a special talent. I'm...we...are honored. Welcome to the family Demi," he wrote.
