'New Chapter': Demi Lovato Teams Up With Justin Bieber's Manager Scooter Braun Following Heroin Overdose
After a tough year, Demi Lovato is trying to surround herself with better people. On Saturday, May 11, the star took to social media to share that she has a new manager Scooter Braun — who brought Justin Bieber to fame at the beginning of his career.
As OK! readers know, Demi was hospitalized in July 2018 after she overdosed on heroin and then spent 90 days in rehab. Since then the Disney Channel alum has reportedly been sober and working on her road to recovery.
Most recently, Demi took to Instagram to tell her fans about the new addition to her team!
"Guys!!!!!!! Dreams came true today for me," she wrote on May 11. "I officially have a new manager!!! And not just any new manager, but the one and only @scooterbraun!!!!"
"Couldn’t be happier, inspired and excited to begin this next chapter with you, Scooter!!!" she added. "Thank you for believing in me and for being apart of this new journey. Let’s do this!!!!!!"
Scooter, 37, also took Instagram to share the exciting news. "She is a special person and a special talent. I'm...we...are honored. Welcome to the family Demi," he wrote.
While the SB Projects founder is best known for helping Justin, 25, launch his career in 2008, he has also represented many other artists over the years including Ariana Grande, Kanye West, Usher, Hilary Duff, Carly Rae Jepsen, Martin Garrix and more.
