Demi Lovato Attends Childhood Friend's Wedding Months After Overdose

Demi Lovato is putting one foot in front of the other in 2019. The singer was a bridesmaid for one of her childhood best friends on Sunday, January 13 and took to Instagram to share a few photos from the wedding. Scroll through to get all the details.
Demi, who is almost 6 months sober after suffering an apparent heroin overdose in July 2018, seems to be appreciating her second chance at life. She shared videos of her family and friends at her good friend, Jenna Schubart's wedding yesterday in Clermont, Florida.
"I was a bridesmaid yesterday for my sister/ former babysitter/friend of 23 years... I love you @jennaschubart," Demi wrote in an Instagram selfie. "What a perfect wedding for a perfect couple!! #MrandMrsSmith."
The "Sorry Not Sorry" singer posted a photo of the newlyweds slow dancing underneath a beautiful chandelier. "Congrats to my sister and her new hubby Lee!!!" she captioned the Instagram story.

Demi's younger sister, Madison De La Garza, 17 — who is famously known for her role in Desperate Housewives — was also at the ceremony.
The 26-year-old even shared a funny video of her mother, Dianna Hart, twerking "with her arms." Looks like they all had a great time!
