Demi Moore doesn’t mind suffering for beauty; the star of the new movie Flawless admitted to David Letterman last night that she received a very bloody beauty treatment while traveling in Austria.
“I was in Austria doing a cleanse and part of the treatment was leech therapy," said the actress during her Late Show visit. She had to take a turpentine bath first, and then was covered in leeches, which are purported to help detoxify blood.

“You watch it swell up and get fatter and fatter and then when it’s super drunk on your blood it just kind of rolls over like it’s super drunk at a bar.”
Moore said they work by releasing an enzyme into the blood, and claimed she felt incredible after the treatment.
