She Said Yes! Former NBA Star Derek Fisher Proposes To Girlfriend Gloria Govan

Looks like Gloria Govan may just find herself on Basketball Wives again, since her former NBA beau Derek Fisher just popped the question! Her answer? Yes!  

After dating for three years, Derek got down on one knee at their Los Angeles home during a small shindig in front of several family members.

He had some of Gloria’s friends take her out during the day, so he could decorate the house while she was gone. Looks like he went the extra mile as it was lit up with candles and beautiful rose petals were spread everywhere. 

Then, she said yes! This will be the second marriage for both Derek and Gloria. He was previously married to his former wife Candace for 10 years before divorcing a few years back. Gloria was married to his former teammate Matt Barnes before separating in 2014. 

Derek, Laura & Matt have a checkered history with one another. In an October 3, 2015 incident, Matt went to Laura’s home to check on their 6-year-old twin sons when an alleged physical altercation took place.  

No charges were filed, and Matt has gone on record recently saying that the beef between him and Derek is squashed. It's not certain whether he will be a guest for their upcoming nuptials though, based on their legendary history.
