Derick Dillard Claps Back After Fan Tells Jill Duggar She And Her Sisters ‘Have No Rights’

Jill Duggar celebrated 100 years of women voting in Arkansas and many fans called the action ironic because of the family’s patriarchal upbringing. Her husband Derick Dillard, however, wasn’t having it and snapped at a commenter on her Instagram!
Jill, 28, shared a gallery of photos on July 30 of her day celebrating the Women’s Suffrage Movement in Arkansas.
She captioned the photos, “Thanks to my friend, Nancy, I had a lovely time at the governor’s mansion for a tea celebrating 100 years since women were finally able to exercise the right to vote!”
“I had to giggle,” one fan wrote. “The ladies in your family have no rights. The men control you.”

They added, “I do love your family and show but come on!!”
Derick, 30, clapped back, “If you only know our family from a semi-scripted show then you are either assuming things that aren’t there, or believe that all you see is all there is.”
“If Jill felt the Lord leading her to run for governor, I would not only vote for her, but support her in every way a spouse can,” he added.
