PHOTOS‘Bachelorette’ Alum Desiree Hartsock Expecting Baby No. 2 With Husband Chris Siegfried

Desiree Hartsock is preparing to be a mommy of two. The former Bachelorette revealed to US Weekly that she and her husband Chris Siegfried are expecting their second child in January.
“We both felt joy,” Desiree, 32, said of finding out that they were expecting another little one. The couple’s 20-month-old son, Asher, is also thrilled (as much as a toddler can be) about becoming a big brother.
“We’ll say, ‘Where’s the baby?’ And he’ll point to my stomach, but I still don’t think he fully understands, but he’s doing it,” Desiree said.
As for how her second pregnancy is going this time around, the bridal gown designer said it’s been a slightly different experience. “I wasn’t working during the first pregnancy,” she said. This time “I’ve been putting in the work.”

However, Desiree’s husband of three years is making sure his wife is relaxing while she’s at home. “I’ve jumped back into baby prep mode,” Chris, also 32, explained. “I cook and let Des relax as much as she can.”
Desiree and Chris met on season 9 of The Bachelorette. After Des gave Chris her final rose, the two tied the knot in January 2015. A little over a year later, the couple revealed they were expecting their first child, Asher, who they welcomed in October 2016.
